Something about lace front wigs

Friday, August 25, 2017 1:05:06 AM America/Los_Angeles

Basically these types of wigs are high quality hairpieces that are able to mimic hair growing from a scalp, which makes for a very real and natural looking style. They are made by using a thin lace as the base where individual hairs will be attached. Lace is left out in the front and around the perimeter. This is to be taped or glued to the forehead and perimeter and this gives the appearance that the hair is growing out of your scalp, providing for a very natural look. There are also "lace frontal pieces" and "lace closures" which are partial lace pieces that can be used with other extension methods such as weaving, bonding/glue, or fusion.

How are Full Lace Wigs Different?

The main difference between the two is that full lace wigs are made for the entire head, so they have the lace that goes around the entire head and must also be attached to the nape of the neck. Lace front wigs are only attached to the front hairline and used with other extension methods as described before.
