First off, we should remember that synthetic wigs have some sort of memory. You don't have to curl or straighten these wigs out frequently. All you need to do is to curl it according to how you like the curls to be like once and even if you wash the wig you have and brush it on a daily basis, the curls just won't go away. It is not just because of this so-called memory that wigs have that gives them a shorter life than the wigs made of real human hair. You should know by now that synthetic wigs are delicate thus you have to take good care of them on a daily basis if you have a lot of them, that is.

 

Now, let us go to how these wigs of synthetic hair are washed. Washing them once every day may destroy some of them so it's better if you do this twice or thrice in a week and some other.  First, you'll need a shampoo for wigs. You can buy this one from salons and even from drugstores or grocery stores, supermarkets perhaps. These are specially formulated shampoos that can be used for the wigs made of synthetic hair. Using this in the washing of the synthetic wigs won't allow you to destroy them in a matter of days or perhaps to a couple days so easily. You'll need such shampoos to maintain the number of wigs you have with synthetic hair.

 

 

Once you have the shampoo, it's time to bring out the basin and fill it with water that's tap and cool in temperature. Aside from the shampoo, you'll also need the baking soda. 1 teaspoon of baking soda is what you'll need to dilute in that basin full of water. Once you've added in the amount of baking soda that's needed, then you add in the a few caps of the shampoo for wigs and then mix the water, baking soda and shampoo altogether until your mixture comes with suds and becomes softer.

 

Before washing synthetic wig, you have to brush the kinks out and around it first. You should make sure that every kink in the wig has been straightened out. Once there are no more kinks and tangles around the wig, it's time to submerge the wig into the solution. Do it so that it lasts until just a minute before you take out the wig again and use a brush for wigs to fix it once it's been finished cleaning up on the shampoo, baking soda and water mixture. Once this is done, you can return this to the wig stand to let it dry.
